The invention consists in the use of linear amphiphilic copolymers in chlorinated and filled thermoplastic compositions containing at least one chlorinated thermoplastic resin and at least one mineral filler as agent for improving the thermal stability and UV resistance of said composition The use of said copolymer is characterized in that it is composed of at least one hydrophilic monomer and at least one hydrophobic monomer, it has a weight average molecular weight between 5,000 g/mol and 20,000 g/mol and is less than or equal to A polydispersity index of 3, preferably a weight-average molecular mass between 10,000 g/mol and 15,000 g/mol and a polydispersity index of less than or equal to 2.5.
