abstract The invention discloses a method for detecting useful and harmful ingredients in a flaxseed product. The method comprises the main steps of: preparing an interior label solution containing an interior label compound with a certain concentration; preparing standard solutions (with a series of concentrations) of an ingredient to be detected by using the interior label solution; analyzing in an LC-MS MRM mode; drawing a standard curve, wherein an X-axle is used for representing the concentration and a Y-axle is used for representing the ratio of an ingredient peak area to an interior label peak area; extracting a flaxseed sample by using the interior label solution and carrying out LC-MS MRM mode analysis on the extracted solution; and calculating the content of the useful ingredient (secoisolariciresinol diglucoside and SDG) and the harmful ingredient (flax cyanogenic glycosides and new flax cyanogenic glycosides) in the flaxseed product by using the standard curve or a regression equation. The detection method has the advantages of speediness, accuracy, good reproducibility, short time and the like, and is an important monitoring means for the quality control and the production condition of the flaxseed product.
