titleOfInvention Photocatalyst for degrading organic pollutant and preparation method thereof
abstract The invention discloses a photocatalyst for degrading an organic pollutant and a preparation method thereof. The catalyst is silver bromide modified nano vanadate samarium; the chemical composition formula is x AgBr/SmVO4; x is atomic ratio of silver to samarium, and x is smaller than or equal to 2.119 and greater than or equal to 0.353. The preparation method comprises the steps of: (1) weighing samarium oxide and ammonium metavanadate, respectively dissolving into nitric acid to mix with ammonia water, adjusting pH to obtain sediment, wherein the mixture is I; (2) weighing silver nitrate (nAg/nSm is smaller than or equal to 2.119 and greater than or equal to 0.353), dissolving into deionized water, adding to I, and agitating to obtain mixture II; (3) weighing sodium bromide (nBr/nAg=1), dissolving into the deionized water, adding to II, agitating and aging and then centrifugally washing, baking at 120 DEG C, grinding, and roasting at 300-600 DEG C, and cooling to obtain the product. The catalyst is simple in preparation method, and excellent in visible light photocatalytic degradation performance as to a plurality of organic pollutants.
