A problem is to provide a porous, hollow fiber membrane for treatment of liquid containing a protein, that efficiently separates and removes retrieved material such as small-diameter viruses and the like contained in a solution, and efficiently transmits useful recovered material such as protein, with little drop in transmission characteristics overtime. Disclosed is a porous, hollow fiber membrane for treatment of liquid containing a protein, that includes a hydrophobic polymer and a hydrophilic polymer, with a transmission speed of pure water at 10 - 300 L/(h DEG m2 DEG bar). When 0.5% immunoglobulin solution is filtered at a constant pressure of 1.0 bar for 60 minutes using dead-end filtration, the filtration time and integrated quantity of recovered filtrate substantially have a linear relationship. |
