abstract The invention discloses an optimized mannose gene, as well as a recombination plant expression vector and an application thereof. The optimized mannose gene shown as SEQ ID NO.1 is obtained by optimizing the mannose gene using codon and improving the stability of the mRNA secondary structure. Further, a recombination plant expression vector containing the original mannose gene or the optimized mannose gene is constructed, and is transformed to corn to obtain a mannose gene corn plant for efficiently expressing mannose in a seed. The enzymatic property test proves that stable and efficient expression and heredity of the optimized mannose gene can be realized in corn, and the expressed mannose enzyme activity and stability are remarkably higher than the enzyme activity and stability of the mannose of the original mannose gene expressed in corn.
