abstract | The invention provides a method for preparing 2, 2-dimethylol-1-butanal. The method adopts a magnetic solid base catalyst to catalyze formaldehyde and n-butanal for condensation reaction, so that 2, 2-dimethylol-1-butanal is obtained, wherein the magnetic solid base catalyst consists of MgO, Fe3O4 and ZrO2, based on the total weight of the catalyst, the MgO content is between 5-30wt%, the Fe3O4 content is between 5-20wt%, and the ZrO2 content is between 60-85wt%. 2, 2-dimethylol-1-butanal which is obtained through the method has high selectivity and high yield, the selectivity is between 91-98%, the yield is higher than 80%, formate is not generated, products are easy to separate, and the catalyst has high activity, and can be recycled. |
