abstract | The invention relates to a method for preparing wide-crack spacing REBCO high-temperature superconducting thick films using YBCO/LAO seed films. The invention discloses a method for growing REBCO superconducting thick films by liquid-phase epitaxy, comprising the following steps: taking BaCO3 powder and CuO powder to prepare and obtain BaCO3 and CuO powder; pre-processing the BaCO3 and CuO powder and sintering to form Ba-Cu-O powder; adding the Ba-Cu-O powder into a crucible filled with RE2O3 materials, heating and keeping the temperature to obtain RE-Ba-Cu-O solution; cooling the RE-Ba-Cu-O solution, using YBCO/LAO thin films as seed films, and growing REBCO superconducting thick films by liquid-phase epitaxy with the top seeded solution growth. The method proves the feasibility for growing the REBCO superconducting thick films by liquid-phase epitaxy with the YBCO/LAO seed films and the advantages of the seed films so as to explore and get novel seed crystal materials for growing the REBCO superconducting thick films by liquid-phase epitaxy and have import meanings for research and development of high-temperature superconducting devices. |
