abstract The present invention relates to a polymer derived from the reaction of epoxy (meth)acrylate, allyl glycidyl ether or [(vinyloxy)methyl]oxirane with ammonia or primary amines to obtain a mixture of monomer compounds; reacting the mixture of monomer compounds with at least one of acrylic acid, vinyl alcohol, vinyl acetate, acrylamide, methacrylic acid and methacrylamide to obtain an intermediate polymer; and The intermediate polymer is reacted with a dithiocarbamate. The invention also relates to methods of using said polymers.
