abstract The invention discloses a preparation method of a photon crystal optical fiber for photocatalysis reaction. A fiber core of the photon crystal optical fiber is provided with a plurality of air vent holes; at least part of the air vent holes are filled with surface plasma photocatalyst; and the side surface of the photon crystal optical fiber is provided with a plurality of micro-channels communicated with the fiber core. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing a dispersion liquid of the surface plasma photocatalyst; discharging the air vent holes of the fiber core in the hollow core photon crystal optical fiber through a discharging current with a preset size, so as to enable a part of air vent holes to subside and to be sealed, and to enable another part of the air vent holes to be kept open; injecting the dispersion liquid of the surface plasma photocatalyst in the air vent holes to be kept open; and opening a plurality of micro-channels communicated with the fiber core on the side surface of the photon crystal optical fiber. The photon crystal optical fiber is used as an optical medium and a carrier of the catalyst, simultaneously used as a transmission channel of reactants, thus the contact area and the reaction time of gaseous reactants and the catalyst as well as the utilization ratio of laser energy can be improved.
