abstract | The invention discloses a boar breeding method. The boar breeding method comprises techniques in boar breed selection, feed preparation, feeding pattern, mating period management and daily management, and is characterized in that boar breed selection and feed preparation are carried out in the way that a local boar in Dongsa of Yunnan is selected, and an energy feed and a green feed are mixed according to the ratio of 1:1, wherein the energy feed contains 55-60% by weight of corn, 18-22% by weight of bean pulp, 10-14% by weight of Anyou 1288 and 8-12% by weight of wheat bran; the crude protein index of the prepared energy feed is 12 to 16; and the green feed contains ragweed, giant chrysanthemum, alfalfa and radish which are cut up and uniformly mixed according to an unlimited proportion. Breeding management measures are adopted, so that the boar is robust, piggies bred by the boar have strong survivability, and the large-scale breeding adaptability of the original Dongsa boar breed is improved; and as the boar is fed with the energy feed and the green feed which are matched, and is additionally properly bred in the open country, the quality, nutritive value and fresh and delicious taste of Dongsa pork are remained. |
