abstract The present invention relates to a method for preparation of an active immunoadsorbent carrier. The active immunoadsorbent carrier is N, O-succinyl ethylene glycol chitosan prepared with glycol chitosan as monomer with succinic anhydride as acylating agent through acylation of water-soluble glycol chitosan. The active immunoadsorbent carrier is an amphipathic cationic polymer, has super high bioadhesive and adsorption promoting characteristic, and can easily combine with a negatively charged peptide drugs, genes, and vaccines. N, O-succinyl ethylene glycol chitosan polymer with a particular degree of substitution can be synthesized by controlling reaction conditions and feeding proportion. The polymer gel can be used as carrier of rheumatoid arthritis immunoadsorbent with adsorption clearance rate up to 60.9%, 63.5%, and 48.0%. N, O-succinyl ethylene glycol chitosan polymer gel can be used as a carrier to prepare immunosorbent, and has high selectivity, high adsorption efficiency, no adsorption of non-objective substance, no coagulation, no hemolysis, good blood compatibility, easy sterilization, good mechanical strength, and easy activation.
