titleOfInvention Method for preparing magnetic photonic crystal on basis of biological templates of single scales of butterfly wing
abstract The invention relates to a method for preparing a magnetic photonic crystal on the basis of biological templates of single scales of a butterfly wing. The method comprises the steps of: carrying surface pretreatment on a whole butterfly biological template; preparing a precursor metal-sol gel solution; placing the treated biological template in the prepared precursor solution for soaking treatment; after the soaking, taking out a sample, flushing by distilled water and drying; under the help of a microscope, selecting soaked single scales and drying by using a drying oven; roasting to remove the biological templates of the single scales to obtain a single butterfly scale ferric oxide material keeping a photonic crystal structure; and further sintering and reducing under hydrogen-argon mixed gas to obtain a single butterfly scale magnetic ferroferric oxide material keeping the photonic crystal structure. The prepared single butterfly scale magnetic material with the natural photonic crystal structure has good response to magnetism and light, can be controlled within a scale range from nanometer to micrometer and has a potential application prospect in the field of magneto-optical communication devices.
