abstract The invention relates to a pure traditional Chinese medicine composition for treatment of yellow-white dysentery of piglets, which is characterized by being prepared through mixing the following ingredients in parts by weight: 10-35 parts by weight of rhizoma atractylodis, 10-25 parts by weight of white peony root, 10-25 parts by weight of Chinese yam, 10-30 parts by weight of coptis, 10-35 parts by weight of banksia rose, 10-25 parts by weight of terminalia, 10-25 parts by weight of ricepaperplant pith medulla tetrapanacis, 10-30 parts by weight of akebia stem, 10-25 parts by weight of cowherb seed and 10-30 by weight of licorice. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: (1) crushing each of the ingredients of the composition separately, and screening through a sieve of 24-80 mesh; (2) weighing 10-35 parts by weight of the rhizoma atractylodis, 10-25 parts by weight of the white peony root, 10-25 parts by weight of the Chinese yam, 10-30 parts by weight of the coptis and 10-35 parts by weight of the banksia rose, and mixing evenly for 10-25 minutes; (3) weighing 10-25 parts by weight of the terminalia, 10-25 parts by weight of the ricepaperplant pith medulla tetrapanacis, 10-30 parts by weight of the akebia stem, 10-25 parts by weight of the cowherb seed and 10-30 by weight of the licorice, and mixing evenly for 10-25 minutes; (4) combining the compositions prepared in step (2) and step (3), and mixing evenly for another 15-20 minute to obtain the traditional Chinese medicine composition. The benefit effects of the invention are that the pure traditional Chinese medicine composition has reasonable formula, simple preparation method, no pollution because of being prepared by pure traditional Chinese herbs, and clinically proved special good treatment effect for yellow-white dysentery of piglets.
