abstract The invention discloses a device and a process for coupling to produce hydrogen by photoelectrically and catalytically degrading an organic pollutant through utilizing solar drive. The device comprises a reactor, a hydrogen collecting device and a light source, and further comprising a solar battery, wherein the reactor is internally provided with at least one reaction tank; the reaction tank is internally provided with at least one pair of photoelectrical electrode pair; a cathode and an anode of the photoelectrical electrode pair are connected with the solar battery; a magnetic agitator is arranged at the bottom of the reaction tank; and the reaction tank is internally provided with a magneton. According to the device and the process disclosed by the invention, the structure is simple, a photoelectrical battery system is effectively utilized, solar light is sufficiently utilized, a power supply does not need to be additionally arranged, and the energy consumption is reduced.
