According to the antibacterial composite membrane and the preparation method thereof, the isolated soy protein serves as the base material, the reducing agent of silver ions and the stabilizer of nano silver simultaneously, other chemical reagents are not needed, and the preparation process is simple, energy-saving and environment-friendly; and the prepared composite membrane has efficient, broad-spectrum and durable antibacterial effects, and is suitable for fields of food packaging, hygienic products, daily necessities, medical materials and the like.
