abstract The invention provides coated paper. The coated paper comprises raw paper and a surface coating formed on the surface of the raw paper; paper pulp for making the raw paper contains the following pulp in part by absolute dry mass: 15 to 30 parts of long fiber pulp, 65 to 85 parts of short fiber pulp, and 0 to 10 parts of mechanical pulp; the pulping freeness of the long fiber pulp is 300 to 400 milliliters, the pulping freeness of the short fiber pulp is 280 to 360 milliliters, and the pulping freeness of the mechanical pulp is 260 to 360 milliliters; and a filler is added into the paper pulp, and the absolute dry mass ratio of the paper pulp to the filler is 100: (6-15). Glue is coated on the surface of the coated paper and can well retain on the surface of the coating and form a membrane, so that the glue is further prevented from permeating to the raw paper, and the coated paper has good box mounting performance.
