abstract The invention discloses a method for preparing gingers, belonging to the field of preparation of a traditional Chinese medicinal material. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) adding water into the mixed traditional Chinese medicinal material which is formed by panax ginseng, radix polygoni multiflori and rhizoma pinelliae for the first decoction, decocting with slow fire after the water is boiled, filtrating out the dregs after the decoction, and reserving the liquid medicine; (2) adding the water into the dregs obtained in step (1) for the second decoction, decocting with slow fire after the water is boiled, filtrating out the dregs after the decoction, and reserving the liquid medicine; and (3) uniformly mixing the liquid medicine obtained by the first decoction and the liquid medicine obtained by the second decoction, adding ginger slices and saccharose into the mixed liquid medicine, standing and drying. The ginger slices prepared by the invention are capable of eliminating edema and congestion of gastric mucosa so as to treat dul stomachache and hiccough and distention, tonifying middle-Jiao and Qi, enriching blood and tonifying kidney essence, slaking thirst and helping produce saliva, nourishing the stomach, strengthening the body resistance to eliminate pathogenic factors and diminish dissolving phlegm, promoting appetite and tonifying spleen to stop vomiting, removing phlegm in the chest, removing lung Qi and stopping hiccough, and preventing and treating gasteremphraxis and stomachache; and the gingers have a certain efficacy on influenza.
