titleOfInvention Linear high-density polyethylene composite material and preparation method thereof
abstract The invention discloses a linear high-density polyethylene composite material with a special positive temperature coefficient effect. The composite material is composed of the following raw materials in part by weight: 60 to 92 parts of linear high-density polyethylene and 8 to 40 parts of carbon fibers. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the linear high-density polyethylene composite material. The linear high-density polyethylene composite material prepared by the method has the significant advantages that along with the increase of number of heat cycles, the PTC strength of the material is improved gradually and is finally stable at a relatively-high value. Besides, the composite material also has the advantages of narrow switching temperature range and almost no NTC effect. The volume resistivity of the composite material which is completely cooled is substantially the same as or slightly higher than the original electrical resistivity. The composite material is a PTC material which has the improved PTC effect strength with the increase of number of heat cycles and has the memory effect on electric resistance at room temperature.
