The invention discloses a hydrophobic fire-resistant fiber and a producing method thereof. The volume ratio of the skin of the fiber and the core of the fiber is in a range of (2:8)-(6:4). The fiber is characterized in that the fiber skin material comprises, by mass, 79.9-88.8% of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), 8-13% of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), 3-6% of flame retardant, 0.1-0.5% of compatilizer and 0.1-0.6% of coupling agents. The compatilizer is one of an acrylic ester grafted polyolefin elastomer and an maleic anhydride grafted polyolefin elastomer; the fiber core material comprises, by mass, 91-95% of PET and 5-9% of flame retardant; and the flame retardant is one of polyphenyl phosphate bisphenol sulfone ester, aryl polyphosphate, poly phenylene phenyl phosphate and Poly diphenyl sulfone diphenyl phosphate. The producing method of the fiber comprises processes of production of flame-resisting slices, production of the fiber skin material, production of the fiber core material and production of skin-core composite hydrophobic fire-resistant fiber. |
