abstract | Belonging to the technical field of high polymer materials and their preparation, the invention relates to sulfonated polyarylethersulfone, its preparation method and application in the aspect of proton exchange membranes. Sulfonated polyarylethersulfone is a polyarylethersulfone polymer containing multi-benzene ring side groups. One sulfonation unit provides 7 sulfonation points. The preparation of the sulfonated polyarylethersulfone consists of three processes: preparation of 2, 6-bis(4-hydroxyphenoxy)-4'-(2, 3, 4, 5, 6-pentaphenyl phenyl)benzophenone, initial polymer synthesis and polymer sulfonation. The sulfonated polyarylethersulfone provided in the invention can be used as a material for making fuel cell proton exchange membranes, and has low swelling ratio, low methanol permeability and good proton conductivity, thus being able to satisfy the requirements of applying the material in fuel cell proton exchange membranes. |
