titleOfInvention Method for preparing Mg/Al layered double hydroxides through using serpentine
abstract The invention relates to a method for preparing Mg/Al layered double hydroxides through using serpentine and its mine tailing. The method comprises the following steps: 1, ball-milling the serpentine to 100mum, uniformly mixing the serpentine ore powder with NaOH according to a mass ratio of the serpentine ore powder to NaOH of 1:1-2:1, putting the resultant mixed sample in muffle furnace, and calcining at 350-450DEG C for 0.5-2h; 2, putting the calcined sample in 100DEG C water, maintaining the temperature for 1h, filtering to obtain a filtrate which is used for preparing an Na2SiO3 solution and obtain solids which mainly comprise Mg(OH)2 and a small amount of Fe(OH)3, putting the filtered solids in the muffle furnace, and calcining at 800-900DEG C for 0.5-1h; and 3, grinding the calcined and filtered solids and Al(OH)3 together with the molar ratio of the solids to Al(OH)3 being 1:1.2, putting the resultant material in a saturated Na2CO3 solution with the solid-liquid mass ratio being 1:10, stirring the resultant solution with the stirring speed being 50rmp, allowing the solution to stand for precipitation, putting the resulting precipitate and the mother solution in a constant temperature box together, letting them in the constant temperature at 70DEG C for 72h, and finally filtering to obtain precipitates which are the Mg/Al layered double hydroxides.
