titleOfInvention Method for extracting allelopathic subdivided component having anti-algal activity from barley with petroleum ether
abstract The invention discloses a method for extracting an allelopathic subdivided component having an anti-algal activity from barley with petroleum ether. The method comprises the steps of pre-treating barley straws and extracting for separation based on polarity, and separating to obtain a petroleum ether phase having the anti-algal activity; drying the obtained extracting solution absolutely; then separating with a normal-phase silica column, wherein an eluent is composed by mixing petroleum ether and ethyl acetate according to a volume ratio of 10:1; and thus the allelopathic subdivided component with relatively strong anti-algal activity is obtained. The method has the characteristics of simple and practicable operation, low cost and wide materials. With the method, the allelopathic subdivided component with relatively strong anti-algal activity can be obtained, and the allelopathic subdivided component can be widely used for controlling algal blooms in lakes and reservoirs.
