abstract The invention discloses a vehicle silencing sheet and a preparation method thereof. The silencing sheet is prepared by binding a rubber membrane and a thin steel plate together with an adhesive and vulcanizing the bound rubber membrane and thin steel plate. The silencing sheet is divided into two types: a single side type and a double side type. The method comprises the following steps of: preparing a rubber solution used for steel plate coating; carrying out knife-coating with the adhesive uniformly on the sand blasting steel plate and carrying out precuring; carrying out knife-coating with the prepared rubber solution uniformly on the procured adhesive coating and carrying out stepwise heating desolventizing and vulcanizing to obtain the vehicle silencing sheet. For preparing the double side type silencing sheet, the obtained single side silencing sheet is turned over and the above steps are repeated. The rubber solution for preparing the silencing sheet is prepared by mixing nitrile rubber, carbon soot, a filling material, auxiliary agents, and a large amount of solvents. The rubber solution has a viscosity coefficient of about 2000-4000 mpas. The equipment is mainly made by non-iron coating membrane preparation doctor knives, an electromagnetic platen, and a horizontal stand. The silencing sheet prepared with the method has a simple technology, outstanding product silencing performance, and good durability, and is an ideal noise reduction product for compact cars and pickup trucks.
