abstract The invention belongs to the technical field of the healing of the wounded plant stem and relates to an oil palm stem section protective agent which is prepared by evenly mixing a bacteriacide, a pesticide, a nutritional agent, an adhesive and water together. The oil palm stem section protective agent is simple in preparation process, and capable of forming a layer of protective film on the cut surface of the oil palm stem, thereby effectively preventing the cut stem of the oil palm tree from infection caused by fungal, bacterial pathogens, preventing disoperation of injurious insects on a tree body and preventing the moisture of the section from evaporating; as a result, the problem that the oil palm seed tree is vulnerable to bacteria and insects and thus is damaged to die after explantleaf sampling; and simultaneously, the protective agent functions well in promoting the growth recovery of the seed tree.
