abstract | A method for depositing and converting arsenic wastewater into arsenic trioxide includes: adding alkali into the arsenic wastewater for neutralization, filtering and adding copper sulfate, adding alkali to adjust pH value of solution, and depositing arsenic to obtain green copper arsenite or copper arsenate or mixture of the two; dissolving the copper arsenite or the copper arsenate or the mixture of the two in sulfuric acid solution, and feeding sulfur dioxide into the solution after dissolving for reduction to obtain arsenious acid solution and copper sulfate solution; heating and vaporizing mixing solution of the arsenious acid solution and the copper sulfate solution, and cooling, crystallizing and filtering to obtain mixture containing the arsenic trioxide and the copper sulfate; dissolving the mixture of the arsenic trioxide and the copper sulfate in water, and filtering, washing and drying to obtain the arsenic trioxide. The method for depositing and converting the arsenic wastewater into the arsenic trioxide is simple in process, material-saving, low in cost and high in recovery rate. |
