abstract The invention discloses a bacteria NJYS-02 which is used for producing a natural blue pigment and is obtained by separating and purifying seashore saline soil, wherein the strain is Pseudomonadaceae, sp by morphology, physiological and biochemical experiments and 16SrRNA molecular identification; the strain is preserved in General Microbial Center of China Microbial Culture Collection Management Committee on 3rd, May, 2012; the preservation number is CGMCG No.6071. The pigment extracting method comprises the steps of inoculating the strain to a culture medium obtained by adding 1.5% of glucose to 20% of potato according to 2% of inoculation amount; when the pH value is 6.0, standing to be cultured for 3 days at 28 DEG C; centrifugating the fermented liquid for 15min at 4000rpm; removing upper clear liquid; using ultrasonic wave to break cells of the strain; extracting ethanol; and rotatably vaporizing and condensing to obtain the purified blue pigment, wherein mice lavage acute toxicity experiments show that the blue pigment produced by the strain is an actual non-toxic strain. With the adoption of the strain producing the blue pigment, the pigment extracting method and application, the problems that the source of the natural blue pigment is narrow and the yield is low are solved; the production process is simple; large-scale industrial fermentation can be carried out; and the obtained blue pigment can be applied in fields such as medical treatment, food, cosmetic, spinning and so on.
