abstract The invention relates to a hyperbranched polymer-Al/Fe salt complex as well as a preparation method and an application thereof. One of the main pollutions of leather industry is chromium pollution generated by chrome tannage. The method comprises the following steps of: mixing diethanolamine and methacrylate, adding solvent, carrying out temperature rise and heat preservation reactions, removing the solvent and the excessive methacrylate, feeding an AB2 type monomer and trimethylolpropane one time for reaction, adding p-toluenesulfonic acid, and carrying out temperature rise reaction; feedinghydroxyl-terminated hyperbranched polymer and succinic anhydride or phthalic anhydride one time controlled by a nuclear one-step method for reaction, and then adding a catalyst for the temperature rise reaction; and adding an intermediate aqueous aolution to inorganic metal salt for raction to obtain the hyperbranched polymer-Al/Fe salt complex. The invention uses the hyperbranched polymer and the inorganic metal salt as raw materials. The raw materials and products are non-toxic and have no side effect. The synthetic method is also simple and easy to operate.
