abstract The invention discloses a method and a device for esterification of biodiesel. The method and the device mainly solve the problems that traditional methods are insufficient in stirring, large in energy consumption, high in production cost and insufficient in oil deacidification capacity. The method includes that an atomizer is used for atomizing oil, methanol and an acid catalyst which are fed in a premixing chamber, and gas eddies formed by rotation of vanes in the premixing chamber mix the oil and particles of the methanol and the acid catalyst to increase the contact area of liquid; an esterification chamber is used for stirring and mixing, and a circulating channel is used for accelerating a pre-esterification reaction to reduce the acid value of the oil; and when the acid value of the oil reaches the requirement of an ester exchange reaction, the methanol and the acid catalyst are recovered, and the methanol and a basic catalyst are added to conduct the ester exchange reaction, and the circulating channel is used for accelerating the ester exchange reaction to produce the biodiesel. The device has the advantages of being simple in structure, low in energy consumption and production cost and good in deacidification performance and is applicable to production of the biodiesel with the oil of high acid values.
