The present invention relates to a method for reacting glycolaldehyde with an aminizing agent in the presence of hydrogen and a catalyst, the catalyst being activated by reducing a catalyst precursor or by reducing a passivated catalyst, characterized in that the reacting takes place in the presence of a solvent and that the glycolaldehyde is brought into contact with the activated catalyst. |
