The protein provided by the invention is shown as (a) or (b): (a) represents a protein consisting of amino acid sequences shown in a sequence 1 in a sequence table; and (b) represents a protein which is obtained by carrying out substitution and/or deletion and/or addition of one or more amino acid residues on the amino acid sequence shown in the sequence 1 in the sequence table, is related to plant adverse resistance and is derived from the sequence 1. The plant adverse resistance related transcription factor GmWRKY78 has important value in the aspects of culturing adverse-resistance plant varieties, particularly new varieties such as abiotic stressresistance (salt resistance, drought resistance and low-temperature resistance) crops and grasslands, can be used for culturing and identifying adverse resistance plant varieties required by agriculture and ecological environment management, and has important meaning to improvement of crop yield.
