titleOfInvention Kk mouse compound feed
abstract The invention relates to compound feed meeting the special nutrition requirements of a KK model mouse. The feed is characterized in that according to the animal nutriology principle and the biological characteristics of the KK mouse, the feed raw materials (corn, bean pulp, fish meal, egg yolk powder, cane sugar, grease, mineral premix agents, vitamin premix agents and the like) are optimized, the raw materials are reasonably proportioned, in addition, the sanitation indexes of the raw materials of the feed, such as the indexes (controlled in the good laboratory practice (GLP) standard allowable range) of ordinary inorganic matters, heavy metals, organic compounds (including pesticide residue), radioactive substances, microbes and the like are effectively controlled, and the compound feed with the balanced nutrition is manufactured. The feed has the advantages that the quality is reliable, the price is low, the KK mouse maintains the typical model characteristics (hyperglycemia, hyperinsulinemia, insulin resistance, abnormal glucose tolerance and hyperalimentation) so that the feed can be more perfectly used for the physiopathologic study on diabetes, or the feed can be used for the study of evaluating the effect and the pharmacologic action of hypolycemic agents.
