abstract The invention provides a preparing process of a microporous composite polymer battery separator. The microporous composite polymer battery separator is prepared by coating gel polymer solution on two sides of a supporting body and drying, wherein the gel polymer solution is formed by blending low-boiling-point organic micromolecular pore forming agent, PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate)-based copolymer, PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride)-HFP (hexafluoropropylene) and a solvent. The preparing process is simple, high in production efficiency, and compatible with the traditional equipment for preparing the battery, and can realize industrialized and large-batch production; and the prepared microporous composite polymer battery separator has high ionic conductivity and excellent mechanical property, and is particularly suitable for a polymer lithium ion battery.
