abstract | The invention discloses a method for preparing water absorption resin by use of the wastewater generated in TMPTA (trihydroxymethyl propane triacrylate) production. The method comprises the following steps of: classifying the wastewater according to the content of acrylic acid in different wastewater; preparing a sodium acrylate concentrated solution and an acrylic acid concentrated solution respectively; adding natural additives and initiators for a polymerization reaction; and drying to obtain the water absorption resin. In the invention, since the water absorption resin is prepared by use of the wastewater generated in TMPTA production, the acrylic acid and sodium acrylate resources are sufficiently utilized, the waste is avoided, and the added value of TMPTA production is increased; the technological flow is simple, the investment in equipment is low, and the method is suitable for industrial production; environmental pollution is avoided due to the sufficient utilization of wastewater; and the concentration energy consumption is greatly reduced, and the cost of TMPTA production is further lowered. |
