abstract | The invention discloses a method for producing chromium oxide green by using chromium sulfate basic. The method comprises the steps of mixing chromium sulfate basic, ammonium sulfate and sulfur in certain proportions, roasting for 30-60min at temperature being 1000-1200 DEG C, washing with water, drying and crushing to obtain ultrafine chromium oxide green products with concentrated particle size. By adopting the method to produce the chromium oxide green, not only can chromic anhydride leftovers and wastes be utilized and can the production cost be reduced, but also a very good demonstration effect is taken in the aspect of environmental protection. Moreover, the particle size of the produced chromium oxide green is concentrated, the chromium oxide green is obviously finer than chromium oxide green which is produced by adopting the traditional process and the chromium oxide green is more suitable for application to ceramic pigment and the polishing field. By converting low-added-value chromium sulfate basic into high-added-value chromium oxide green, an effect of protecting the environment is taken at the same time and a very good demonstration effect is taken in the chromium salt production field. Besides, the goals of economy and environmental protection are achieved. |
