The invention refers to a liquid crystal aligning agent, a liquid crystal alignment film, a process for producing phase difference film, the phase difference film, and a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal alignment film is manufactured by the liquid crystal alignment film and has excellent adhesion with a base material film, film hardness and liquid crystal orientation even performing low temperature and short time heat treatment. The liquid crystal aligning agent comprises (A) components including epoxy groups and hydrogen supply bodies in a same or different molecule(s) and (B) metal chelate compounds. Besides, the components of (A) preferentially comprises (a1) a polymer comprising epoxy groups and (a2) curing accelerators comprising hydrogen supply bodies. |
