The invention relates to a solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization and a catalyst. The solid catalyst component is prepared by the following steps of: contacting magnesium dialkoxyl serving as a carrier and toluene serving as a dispersant with a 2,3-di-non-straight chain alkyl-2-cyanodiethyldiester compound which is taken as an electron donor, has a special structure and is shown as a general formula (I), controlling at a certain temperature for reacting with titanium halide, and performing the titanium halide treatment to obtain the solid catalyst. During polymerization, an organic aluminum compound is taken as a catalyst accelerator, and a compound of organic silicon is taken as a steric directing agent. When the catalyst is applied to propylene polymerization, an obtained polymer has the advantages of wide molecular weight distribution, high stereospecificity, good particle form and low fine powder content, and is suitable for products having high requirements on the processing performance of polymers. |
