Composition, low irritation cleansing composition, it comprises: (a) anionic surfactant compound of formula (I), wherein R 1 represents C 4-36 substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbyl; each R 2 , R 3 , R 4 and R 5 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a C 1-4 alkyl group and wherein at least one of R 2 , R 3 , R 4 and R 5 is not hydrogen and M+ represents a cation; (b) an amphoteric surfactant; and ( c) alkoxylated nonionic species, wherein the molar ratio of component (a) to component (b) is 0.5:1 to 2:1 and wherein the mass of component (c) is equal to that of component (a) and The ratio of the combined masses of (b) is less than 1.2:1. |
