titleOfInvention Quantum dot with adjustable emission spectrums and preparation method thereof
abstract The invention provides a quantum dot with adjustable emission spectrums; the quantum dot has the chemical formula shown in the formula (I): CdxInSy (I), wherein x is more than 0 and not more than 1 and y is not less than 0.5 and not more than 5. According to the invention, cadmium salt, indium salt and sulphur are used as raw materials; the cadmium salt and the indium salt are coated by using an organic coating agent and heated to react with the sulphur, and then the quantum dots with adjustable emission spectrums are obtained. On the condition that the particle sizes of the quantum dots provided by the invention are the same or similar, the quantum dots with different emission spectrum peaks are obtained by adjusting the atomic ratio of the elements. According to the invention, the quantum dots with different atomic ratios can be obtained by changing the composition and/or dosage of the organic coating agent or changing the temperature and/or time of the heating reaction, so that the emission spectrums are adjusted and the quantum dots have different light emitting colors on the condition that the particle sizes are the same or similar; and the light emitting colors of the quantum dots provided by the invention range from blue to red and have good adjustability.
