abstract The invention discloses novel mutain and a coding gene of a related gene IFNA 2 of chronic viral hepatitis type b and application thereof. The novel mutain of the related gene IFNA 2 of the chronic viral hepatitis type b is formed by changing alanine at the 120 position of an amino acid sequence of related gene IFNA 2 protein of the chronic viral hepatitis type b into threonine, simultaneously, the coding gene of the mutain is obtained, and a diagnostic kit based on the IFNA 2 gene and mutant of the gene is established. The diagnostic kit can enable the diagnosis of gene levels to be performed on a chronic hepatitis patient in clinic and can guide the clinical medication condition and enable personalized treatment to be performed. From a long view, mutation detection of the IFNA 2 gene for the chronic viral hepatitis type b enables users to treat the disease through a gene treatment method of correcting mutation or a biological effect method specific to the mutation in the future and has profound significance and application prospects in the aspect of clinical treatment.
