abstract The invention relates to a hollow glass bead plastic composite building template and a preparation method thereof and belongs to the field of production and manufacturing of the composite building template. The plastic composite building template disclosed by the invention is of a multilayer composite structure; polypropylene materials are filled on upper and lower surface layers of the template by adopting superfine activated calcium carbonate; a core layer is made of high-performance hollow glass bead/polypropylene composite material; and the hollow glass bead plastic composite building template is formed in one step by multilayer co-extrusion by utilizing advanced special plastic template production equipment. The hollow glass beads added into the core layer part have the characteristics of light reduction, low thermal conductivity coefficient, high compressive strength and good liquidity, so that the building template has high stability, and the shrinkage and the warpage are reduced. Meanwhile, the liquidity of the material can be effectively improved in the preparing process of the template; the viscosity and the internal stress of a mixture are reduced; the toughness of the template is significantly improved in the using process, the impact resistance is significantly improved, and the surface hardness is improved; and compared with an existing template, the template has the advantage that under the condition of the same size, the weight is greatly reduced and the material cost can be remarkably reduced.
