abstract The invention discloses a method for gathering gamma-propalanine in green algae. The method comprises the following steps: 1, green algae is soaked in purified water and then placed in a sealed container; 2, the green algae in the sealed container is processed for 5 to 15 min under high pressure of 200 to 400 MPa; and 3, the green algae obtained in step 2 and processed under high pressure is aired in a sterile environment until having a constant weight. When the method provided by the invention is adopted, the content of gamma-propalanine in green algae can be improved remarkably.
