Polypropylene resin, polypropylene resin composition, and foam-injection-molded article |
abstract |
Provided are a polypropylene resin and a polypropylene resin composition that contains the aforementioned polypropylene resin and is used in foam injection molding. The provided polypropylene resin and propylene resin composition have excellent fluidity and foamability, and particularly when used in foam injection molding, allow forming with low initial cavity clearance even in large molds, thereby making it possible to obtain thin foam-injection-molded articles with large surface areas and good external appearances. The polypropylene resin is characterized by being obtained by melt-mixing a linear polypropylene resin, a radical polymerization initiator, and a conjugate diene compound. The polypropylene resin is further characterized by: a melt flow rate greater than 30 g/10 min and no greater than 250 g/10 min, measured at 230 DEG C and with a load of 2.16 kg; a melt tension at 200 DEG C of at least 0.3 cN; and a loss tangent (tan d) less than or equal to 6.0, said loss tangent being the ratio between the storage elastic modulus and the loss elastic modulus as measured by dynamic viscoelastic measurement at a temperature of 200 DEG C and an angular frequency of 1 rad/s. |
