abstract The invention provides a method for simulation modeling of an offshore island reef type artificial fish reef cluster flow field, comprising the steps of using plane interpolation to perform gridding to a submarine topography, constructing a complex submarine rugged topography by Solidworks software as a bottom surface of a numerical water tank, obtaining a three-dimensional numerical water tank after constructing a sea plane; expelling an island land part in the water tank by modeling of an island shape; introducing the numerical water tank including an island and an artificial fish reef area to the GAMBIT software, performing three-dimensional shaping for the artificial fish reef by the computer auxiliary design; setting a single fish reef body or a multi-fish-reef combination body to the numerical water tank, obtaining the position of a the fish reef and water depth where the fish reef is located by the plane interpolation, expelling the solid part of the artificial fish reef at the bottom of the numerical water tank; after combining, performing surface meshing to the numerical water tank in the GAMBI; introducing the surface meshing data to the Tgrid software to perform volume meshing, introducing the volume meshing data to CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software, namely, performing simulation calculation.
