abstract The invention discloses mesoporous TiO2 synthesized by using an acid-processed nano-cellulose template and application of the mesoporous TiO2. The mesoporous TiO2 is prepared from acid-processed nano-cellulose serving as a template and titanium tetrachloride serving as a titanium source by a liquid phase hydrolysis-precipitation method. According to the mesoporous TiO2, the acid-processed nano-cellulose serving as environment-friendly biological renewable resources is used as a template agent, an ideal template agent structure is designed by regulating the length, diameter and the like of the cellulose, and a novel TiO2 mesoporous functional material which has a specific pore structure and meets the requirement for treating special pollutants is prepared directionally. The mesoporous TiO2 has certain theoretic and real significance for synthesizing the mesoporous material and deeply purifying polluted water.
