The present invention relates to curable amine flux compositions and soldering methods, providing a curable amine flux composition comprising, as a starting ingredient: at least two oxirane groups per molecule Resin component; Amine flux represented by formula I: Wherein, R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are independently selected from hydrogen, substituted C 1-80 alkyl, unsubstituted C 1-80 alkyl, substituted C 7-80 arylalkyl and unsubstituted Substituted C 7-80 arylalkyl; wherein, R 7 and R 8 are independently selected from C 1-20 alkyl, substituted C 1-20 alkyl, C 6-20 aryl and substituted C 6- 20 aryl, or wherein R 7 and R 8 together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached form a C 3-20 cycloalkyl ring optionally substituted by C 1-6 alkyl; wherein R 10 and R 11 are independently selected from From C 1-20 alkyl, substituted C 1-20 alkyl, C 6-20 aryl and substituted C 6-20 aryl, or wherein R 10 and R 11 together with the carbon atom they are connected to form can be C 3-20 cycloalkyl ring optionally substituted by C 1-6 alkyl; and, wherein R 9 is selected from hydrogen, C 1-30 alkyl, substituted C 1-30 alkyl, C 6-30 aromatic and substituted C 6-30 aryl groups; and, optionally, a curing agent. The present invention also provides a method of soldering electrical contacts using a curable amine flux composition. |
