abstract | Provided are a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition and a pressure-sensitive adhesive film. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition or film does not cloud, blister, or separate from an adherend, even when subjected to durability test under high-temperature and high humidity conditions in an oven, or even after being taken out from the oven. Also provided is a process for the production of a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that contains an acrylic polymer having hydroxyl groups as functional groups. The process includes (1) preparing a base polymer from a solvent solution of an acrylic monomer mixture, (2) preparing a raw material composition for a pressure-sensitive adhesive, said raw material composition comprising the base polymer, at least one (meth)acrylic monomer having a hydroxyl group, a photopolymerization initiator, and a bifunctional crosslinking agent in an amount of 0.1 equivalent or less relative to the crosslinking points of the polymer, and (3) irradiating the raw material composition with light to form a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. |
