abstract |
The invention discloses an electrolyte for dye sensitized solar cells. The electrolyte comprises organic iodide, elementary iodine, additive and solvent, wherein the organic iodide is prepared through reaction of 1-alkyl substituted imidazole and 2-alkyl iodides. The electrolyte has stable physical and chemical properties and low cost and can be used for replacing lithium iodide which is high in price and bad in stability. By using the electrolyte provided, the stability of the dye sensitized solar cells can be improved, the cost is reduced, and benefit is brought to the industrialized application of the cells. |
