titleOfInvention Primer pair and kit for detecting DNA (Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid) methylation state of promoter region of cell NKD2 gene
abstract The invention provides a primer pair and a kit for detecting the DNA (Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid) methylation state of the promoter region of a cell NKD2 gene. In the kit, the cell NKD2 gene is taken as a target gene firstly, the gene is a gene which is screened from a gastric cancer cell line and tumor tissues by applying an MSP technology and of which the promoter region is in a hypermethylation state, and is initiative. The kit and a specific primer have high specificity on the detection of the methylation state of stomach neoplasms tissues, and the specificity can be up to 46 percent; and the sensitivity is up to 0.5 percent, i.e., five methylated cells in 1,000 cells can be detected. By applying the kit disclosed by the invention to the detection of the hypermethylation state of the promoter region of the cell NKD2 gene, a powerful means can be provided for gastric cancer diagnosis, curative effect observation, prognosis judgment, remaining focuses, relapse detection and the like; and moreover, the primer pair and the kit are easy and convenient to operate, have high stability, and have deep clinical signification and popularization.
