In the composition, adder's tongue herb, corsvenor momordica fruit leaf, calomel, baikal skullcap root, garden balsam stem, double-teeth pubescent angelica root, amur corktree bark, corral weed, glandularflower rabdosia herb and belvedere fruit are taken as chief medicinals for clearing away heat and toxic materials and eliminating damp; gorgon euryale seed root, prepared rehmannia root, lily-turf, aloe flower, gypsum, areca peel, monthly rose, cassia bark, dried longan pulp and figwort are taken as deputy medicinals for regulating internal secretion; turnip flower, fineleaf schizonepeta herb, Chinese ligusticum rhizome, Chinese hibiscus leaf, cortex myricae, longfruit speedwell herb, denseflower indigo leaf, Chinese gall, akebia stem and grassleaf sweetflag leaf are taken as assistant medicinals for strengthening an acne removing function; and mint, lotus leaf, common lophatherum herb, honeysuckle flower, malt, red date, Chinese angelica, red-rooted salvia root, tuber fleeceflower root and rosin are taken as envoy medicinals for guiding medicaments to illness stations.
