titleOfInvention Natural plant essential oil, preparation method thereof and application of natural plant essential oil to cigarettes
abstract The invention discloses natural plant essential oil, a preparation method thereof and application of the natural plant essential oil to cigarettes. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: cleaning plants, drying, and crushing to obtain plant powder; and distilling the plant powder in an aqueous solution of sodium chloride at the temperature of between 80 and 100 DEG C for 8 to 12 hours, collecting volatile matter to obtain light yellow essential oil, and after-treating to obtain the plant essential oil, wherein the mass ratio of the plant powder to the aqueous solution of sodium chloride is 1:(10-20); and the plants are myrica rubra leaves, Juniperus formosana Hayata, Illicium lanceolatum or Akebia trifoliate. The method is easy to operate and control, is low in cost and low in energy consumption, does not pollute the environment, and is suitable for industrialized production, and the conventional technology for processing the cigarettes is not required to be changed. The plant essential oil can be applied to the cigarettes; and the cigarettes added with the plant essential oil have increased aroma volume and herbal medicine note when smoked, the aroma is unique and has increased richness and elegant feeling as well as good harmony, consistency and permeability, and the comfort level is strengthened.
